The problem when you’re not writing well and not liking what you’re writing, is that you start seeing it everywhere.  Case files from a few different examples:

  • The FBI agent who knows a suspect is stalking her, but doesn’t follow up on the detail that’s supposed to watch her house¦and then gets shot¦and then blames her team.
  • The police detective who’s so idiotic, the amateur sleuth has to tell him to use a cloth to pick up evidence so he doesn’t leave fingerprints.
  • The other FBI agent who questions a suspect accused of abducting a teenage girl, then leaves him UNSU{ERVISED in a school.

On the bright side, finally got a synopsis finished¦now, I just have to suck it up and keep editing my latest manuscript.
