I’m West Indian and there are a ton of really interesting superstitions I wanted to talk about¦

Lol, I’d just be so thrilled they were making into a movie, I wouldn’t care!

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Wow. Ask the hard questions”basically, a West Indian woman must confront cultural prejudice and family disapproval when she and her lesbian lover decide to have a child.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
It would be cool to have it rep’d but indie publishing is a great Plan B.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Honestly”having to stuff a cut lime in my bra during a funeral (yeah¦don’t ask¦)

Well, since it’s a Natasha Deen work, folks can expect comedy, heart, and a happy ending. J
